Who we are

We. Love. Adventure.

It’s true. We wake up in the morning thinking about it, go to bed dreaming about it, and if we’re not telling travel stories around the fire, we’re planning our next trip.

We started Adventure Alliance to share our love of the outdoors with the world. Camping meetups, equipment reviews, some awesome gear of our own and a few collaborations with companies we trust, we’re always looking for new ways to bring confidence and a sense of adventure to your next trip, whether it’s your first or your hundredth.

What we do

Adventure Alliance is an overlanding company specializing in gear advice, route planning and a small selection of the best damn camp swag we could come up with.

We love partnering with local companies for learning opportunities, culinary experiences, and training demos for camp meetups.

Film and photography is a huge part of our mission, a way to bring the outdoors to our Adventure Alliance fam, and as a source of inspiration to get out on the road in search of something new.

Meet the Team

Morgan Betz

Morgan is the technical brain of our operation.

From record label producer to college professor to film director, this guy can teach you how to record just about anything.

His overlanding experience started in 2016 with a 2 month cross country trip in a rooftop tent and his appetite kept growing from there.

Morgan and Carolyn found themselves in an Earthroamer demo truck at an expo in 2018 and that was pretty much it. Big Red came into their lives and there was no going back.

A few trips turned into almost full time life on the road, filming and photographing their journey.

There’s nothing Morgan loves more than a great camp spot, a cold drink next to a hot fire, and some amazing scenery to capture through his camera.

Carolyn Powers

Raised up and down the East Coast, always on the move, and surrounded by countless creative projects, Carolyn rounds out the Alliance as a passionate artistic force. Carolyn spent her career as a textile artist, botanical designer and more recently designing and creating concrete vessels for her line of home designs.

Shortly after being dragged into the world of film and photography by Morgan, Carolyn rekindled her passion for being behind the lens.

Their cross country trip and adventures in Big Red put Carolyn at the helm of multiple social media accounts where she lets her creative side shine. There is not much down time for Carolyn….she’s always working on something new.
